26 student experiences are available, but the source survey did not ask for stars. The first Tellyrate rating will set the score.
Experience: Very great! Loved it very much. There are 3 shifts (7am-3pm) (3pm-11pm) (11pm-7am) each shift differs in the amount of patients and you should cover them equally so 6 shifts each and you need a signature for attendance at the end of each shift
Advantages: Doctors and fellows are very nice, friendly, and ready to help. Working hours depends on the consultants/ fellows they may let you leave early or you can ask them and it depends whether they’re ok with you leaving or not. ((((You can absolutely study all day if you want, no one will ask about you or ask you to see patients)))) so it depends on what you would like to do 100%
Disadvantages: Maybe thats its 8 hours shift (if you attend them all without leaving early) but even with that you can study all 8 hours no one will notice or ask about you
Tips: Read the room, so if you’re 2 hours in your shift its a bit disrespectful to ask to leave early. If they’re busy its better not to bother them by leaving.
Experience: it was good
Advantages: Good teaching
Disadvantages: Long rounds , 3 oncalls , No Postcall
Tips: I recommend going with a lower-load team because it gets fewer patients
Experience: Loved it!! Suits ppl who are not interested, you take one patient per day and finish the round around 11:30-12
Advantages: Nice doctors, helpful teaching during the round and absolutely short working hours
Disadvantages: 3 on calls but it’s not an disadvantage in my opinion
Tips: If you’re interested, choose a higher-load team. They see more patients and finish around 2:45-3, I guess
According to the residents, the working hours are short and not heavy because it’s the summer time and you don’t want to try in in winter season because most children get sick that time
Experience: This review concerns Complex Team. The experience varied with staffing: one assignment was friendly and allowed earlier departure, while another was stricter and generally finished around 12–1 PM. Rounds began around 9–9:30, with some preparation required from 8 AM.
Advantages: Respectful doctors and occasional useful teaching.
Disadvantages: The experience can differ substantially depending on the team.
Tips: Finish assigned tasks promptly, remain professional, and be clear about your learning goals.

Experience: Cooperative team, helpful and short rounds most of the days
Advantages: Short working hours rounds start 9/9:30 ends 11-1pm
Disadvantages: Fellow asks a lot of question, you should be prepared to present your case and know every detail
Tips: Always show interest even if your not interested
Experience: A positive clinic-based rotation with teaching from fellows and consultants. Endocrinology clinics offered a wider range of cases, while diabetes follow-up clinics could become repetitive. First-visit clinics were particularly useful for taking a complete history and understanding referrals.
Advantages: Morning clinics run around 8:30–11:30 or noon, and afternoon clinics around 12:30–4. Interns are usually observers, but fellows may encourage them to take histories and present patients. On busy days, interns may be offered their own clinic with consultant approval.
Disadvantages: There are internal-medicine on-calls, usually two weekdays or one weekend. If you only observe in clinic, the work can become repetitive.
Tips: Attend consistently with a small number of consultants so they can assess your work. Ask to take histories and present patients; first-visit clinics provide the best practice.
Experience: all the drs were very nice, very light rotation.
Advantages: 9 am - 12 pm max, you will be assigned 2 patients to present in the round. a lot of time to study.
Tips: let them know you're not interested early on
Experience: Very light rotation; the team was very cooperative and nice. You are generally responsible for two patients.
Advantages: 8 am - 12 pm max, a lot of time to study,
Tips: be punctual, participate in the round, know everything about your patient
Experience: Great experience 8am - 12pm shifts (give and take) and only 1 patient per intern 3 oncalls per month (patients ranged from 1 to 5) Good month to study in As per resident, winter is a hectic season for peds, so if your rotation happens to be during winter try and consider other hospitals. Otherwise, kasch has reasonable load
Disadvantages: You have to wake the parents up sometimes
Tips: Rounds start around 9 AM I used to be at the hospital at 8 to see the patient, prepare my presenting note, and if i got extra time I could also write the progress note
Try and be opportunistic when examining babies before they cry
