التجربة: تجربة رائعة ومفيدة. يتقاسم المتدربون تغطية العيادات والتنويم بينهم، بحيث تكون العيادات لفترة أقصر والتنويم لبقية الروتيشن. لا يوجد جدول ثابت؛ اتفقوا مع الفيلو في البداية على توزيع الأيام.

في التنويم تمسك مريضًا وتتابعه يوميًا وتقدمه في الراوند. إذا لم يُسند إليك مريض فبادر واطلب. يبدأ العمل عادةً قرابة ٩ وينتهي غالبًا عند ١:٣٠. أما العيادات فتكون من يومين إلى أربعة أيام حسب الأسبوع، وقد تمسك عيادة ويدخل الاستشاري الأوردرات. كل أربعاء يوجد قراند راوند من ٩ إلى ١١ يتضمن شرح موضوع ثم الراوند.

الإيجابيات: حالات ممتعة، ودوام التنويم غالبًا من دون ضغط كبير.

السلبيات: العيادات قد تكون مزدحمة إذا كان اليوم كاملًا.

النصائح: تواصلوا مع الفريق في بداية الروتيشن، واطلبوا متابعة حالة مناسبة لمستواكم حتى تستفيدوا من التغيرات اليومية والخطة العلاجية.

Experience: A light rotation with either a morning clinic from 8:00 to 11:30 or an afternoon clinic from 12:30 to 4:00. Interns initially work with a consultant or resident, then may run their own clinic and see around 2–6 straightforward follow-up cases. The weekly Down syndrome clinic can be difficult at first but becomes easier with familiarity. Attendance is monitored strictly, and missing a clinic may result in a warning even when the absence is for an appointment.

Advantages: Supportive consultants, short working hours, useful learning and good exposure to the BestCare system.

Disadvantages: You may need to wait 30 minutes after a patient’s appointment time even when the patient does not attend. The Down syndrome clinic can be demanding.

Experience: Overall the rotation was good and easy. This experience for non intrested interns: They divide us into 4 specialities each specialty for one week 1- Pediatric ENT: was the best of them I just attend one day 2- otology: did not attend the whole week again if you said you are not interested they will say dont come 3- H&N: this was the only speciality that really cared about attendance, not interesting, full of complicated cases, but I only attend clinics/rounds no OR 4- rhinology: only attend 2 days clinic

Advantages: If you are not intrested they said dont come + I did not attend any OR i told them that I want clinics/rounds only

Experience: Loved it for Non interested , very few cases in comparison to other team actually it’s the least , the round duration depends on the consultant however still it’s the least in comparison to other teams . Recommended

Experience: This review concerns Green Team, which the respondent considered one of the better teams. Interns usually follow one patient and write the post-admission or progress note. There are three on-calls, mainly involving admission notes while working with the resident on call.

Advantages: A respectful, friendly learning environment. Consultants and residents often teach after cases, so the month can be useful even for interns who are not planning to enter paediatrics.

Disadvantages: Feedback during presentations could be harsh, including being yelled at. The respondent’s advice was to stay calm, prepare thoroughly, and focus on the learning.

Tips: Arrive before rounds to review the on-call note, laboratory results and your patient. Use the required infection-control precautions, examine patients carefully, and be honest about anything you could not complete.

التجربة: هذه التجربة في الفريق الأزرق. يتغير ضغط العمل بشكل واضح حسب الاستشاري؛ في الفترات الأخف كان عدد المرضى بين ٥ و٨ وينتهي الدوام قرابة ١١، وفي الفترات المزدحمة وصل العدد إلى ١٨ وكان الانتهاء بين ٢:٣٠ و٣.

الروتيشن بشكل عام واضح وسهل. عادةً يتابع متدرب الامتياز مريضًا واحدًا ويجهز النوت ويقدمه في الراوند، وقد يتابع مريضين عند زيادة الضغط.

النصائح: إذا كنت مهتمًا بالتخصص، بادر وشارك حتى تستفيد من الحالات.
