Experience: A very light rotation with half-day morning clinics from 8 to 12 or afternoon clinics from 12 to 4. The centre is small but adequately equipped. Attendance was not formally recorded during this experience, and interns were not consistently included in the weekly schedule.
Advantages: Friendly staff, a light patient load, straightforward cases, time to study, optional teaching sessions and nearby parking.
Disadvantages: There was limited opportunity to run a clinic independently. Traffic can be heavy because the centre is close to King Fahad Road, and food or drink shops are not nearby. The first week may be confusing without a clear schedule.
Tips: Ask to be added to the weekly schedule and clarify attendance and learning opportunities at the start.
